Privacy policy

This page explains what data the driing.ch website collects, why, who receives it and what your rights are. Last updated: 8 October 2026.

1. Controller

Driing is operated by Driing, a sole proprietorship, Route des Devins 25A, 1913 Saillon, Switzerland ("we").

For any question about your data: info@driing.ch.

2. Scope

This policy covers the driing.ch website in its French, English and German versions. It is written with regard to the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, for visitors from the European Economic Area, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The Driing service itself, the voice agent that answers your company's calls, is covered by separate information. Companies taking part in the beta receive it before anything goes live, in particular on where calls are processed, what information is kept and how to access or delete it.

3. What data we collect, and why

3.1 Beta application

The site has two application forms. The full form asks for your first name, last name, company name, industry and e-mail address, and optionally your phone number and a message. The short form, which opens from the industry cards and the banner, asks for your name and phone number, and optionally your website. We also record the industry you chose, which form you used and the language of the page.

We use this data to review your application, get back to you, arrange a conversation and set up your agent. The processing is based on your consent, given by sending the form, and on the pre-contractual steps you ask us to take. Fields marked with an asterisk are needed to process the application.

The forms are sent through Web3Forms, a third-party service that forwards the form content to our inbox. Web3Forms acts as a processor; its privacy policy describes its own processing.

We keep applications for the duration of the beta programme and at most twelve months after it ends, then delete them, unless a contractual relationship has started in the meantime.

3.2 Technical data

Like any website, driing.ch records technical data on each visit through its hosting provider [hosting provider name and country]: IP address, browser and device type, date and time, page viewed. These logs keep the site secure and working. They are kept for a limited time and then erased.

3.3 Audience measurement

The site loads Google Tag Manager (Google Ireland Ltd., Dublin). This tool collects no data by itself, but is used to activate audience measurement tags, in particular Google Analytics. These may set cookies and send Google information about how you use the site (pages viewed, device, shortened IP address, referrer), including to servers in the United States.

We use this information to understand how the site is used and to improve it. This processing is based on our legitimate interest and, where the applicable law requires it, on your consent. You can prevent this tracking by blocking cookies in your browser or by installing the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Google's privacy policy describes its processing.

3.4 Fonts

The site's fonts are loaded from Google Fonts servers. When a page is displayed, your browser therefore sends your IP address to Google to fetch the font files. Google states that it does not use these requests for any purpose other than serving the fonts.

3.5 Local storage in your browser

The site remembers in your browser your choice of light or dark theme (localStorage) and whether you closed the announcement banner (sessionStorage, cleared when the tab closes). This contains no personal data and is never sent to us. Apart from the audience measurement tags described above, the site sets no cookies.

3.6 Demo video

The demo video is hosted on our own servers and played directly by your browser, with no third-party player or service.

3.7 E-mails

If you write to info@driing.ch, we keep your message and our exchange for as long as needed to handle your request, and at most two years afterwards as a record.

4. Recipients and transfers abroad

We do not sell or rent your data. It is shared only with the providers named in this policy (Web3Forms, Google, our hosting provider), which process it on our behalf, and with authorities where the law requires it.

Some of these providers process data outside Switzerland, in particular in the United States. In that case we make sure adequate protection is in place: the provider's certification under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, or standard contractual clauses recognised by the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner. Failing that, the transfer is based on your consent.

5. Security

The site is served over HTTPS only. Access to applications is limited to the people who need it to handle them. No transmission over the Internet is entirely secure, however; please do not send us sensitive information through the forms.

6. Your rights

At any time you can:

  • ask for access to the data we hold about you and obtain a copy;
  • have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected;
  • ask for your data to be deleted, including withdrawing your application;
  • object to a processing operation or ask for it to be restricted;
  • receive the data you gave us in a common format (portability);
  • withdraw your consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before.

To exercise these rights, write to info@driing.ch. We may ask you to prove your identity. We normally reply within thirty days.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC); in the European Economic Area, the authority of your country of residence.

7. Changes

We may update this policy, for example when the site or the providers we use change. The version in force is the one published on this page, with its update date. The English and German versions are translations; in case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.
